The present work summarises the main results of the joint Eurofound-ILO report on «Working anytime, anywhere: The effects on the world of work», focusing on the impact of ICTs on the employment relationship in ten selected countries (both European and non-European). The essay is mainly aimed at critically analysing the opportunities and the risks related with the digitisation of work in contemporary capitalism, mainly in terms of impacts on working time, work-life reconciliation, health and safety and productivity.
